The Breakfast of Champions - There's a group of Christian men who meet every other Saturday in "The Garage". They come in around 8:30am and give their hello's and introductions. Fellowship insues quickly as they talk about the events that have transpired since the last meeting. Praises are given as well as prayer requests. Men talk about God and life and share their burdens and successes from the past weeks and days. They bless the food and continue to fellowship over eggs and biscuits and sausage and gravy, coffee and Sunny D! Mmmmmmm! After the breakfast and fellowship wind down they settle in for Bible study. Great discussions and observations eminate from these studies. Prayers are requested at the closing of the meeting and they are delivered to the Lord as they dismiss. What a great time of food and fellowship, not only with men but with the Lord Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit! Praise God for faith building, burden lifting, eye opening new ministries and all they are doing for the kingdom of God! The men who attend these meetings release the heaviness of their lives by sharing the yoke of Christ with each other in an open and loving Christ Centered group of Christian men. Who knows what great things will come from this wonderful new ministry. All are welcome to join them. Men are encouraged to bring their sons, their fathers, brothers, cousins, friends and co-workers. Good food, Good fellowship and Good Bible Study add up to a very fulfilling morning. Join them as they share Christ's love! |
